HON. ATO FORSON MUST GO!
It is rather sad that Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency despite its numerous natural resources is still one of the poorest constituencies in the Central Region and Ghana for that matter.
Hon. Casiel Ato Forson has been the Member of Parliament of this constituency for twelve solid years, yet there is no major project or policy he has brought onboard to help alleviate the suffering of the people in his community. He rather chose to invest in other constituencies; he chose to build almost a 400 bed hostel in UCC whilst tertiary students in his constituencies battle with high accommodation challenges. He chose to open a bank( saving and loans) in Accra whilst his constituents suffer high rate of unemployment. This is the kind of MP Ajumako Enyan Essiam has been investing their votes in over the past 12 years.
Day in, day out, the poverty and challenges of the people continue to be on the rise. Ato Forson’s unfulfilled promises to the good people of Ajumako Enyan Essiam over the past decade amazes even the devil.
He has taken the good people of Ajumako for granted for far too long. Their relentless sacrifices and queueing on the sun just to vote for him to represent them has become one of a regret.
As we speak, teenage pregnancy is on the ascendency because of the high rate of school dropouts in the area. Those who are fortunate to complete Senior High Schools also find it difficult getting access to tertiary institutions due to financial constraints and are therefore left with no option than travel to major cities in search of greener pastures. Many dreams have been shuttered in Ajumako.
It is public knowledge that our parliamentarians apart from making laws in the august house of parliament are also supposed to be also agents of development, unfortunately, Ato has let his people down.
One wonders what exactly Ato Forson has been doing in Parliament as far as development of Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency is concerned. I challenge Ato Forson to pinpoint one classroom block he has used his MPs Common Funds for.
In this modern era, folks in some towns within Ato’s constituency still engage in open defecation because of the lack of toilet facilities. Why should people continue to drink water from streams, rivers, used by animals?
Ato Forson has been a disappointment for the good people of Ajumako Enyan Essiam and must be kicked out.
Arise, YOUTH OF AJUMAKO ENYAN ESSIAM CONSTITUENCY!
Ato MUST GO!!
