English Premier League club, Manchester City are keenly monitoring Lionel Messi’s attempt to exit Barcelona, Sky Sports has reported.
Barcelona recently confirmed that the Argentine notified them about his intention to leave Camp Nou.
Messi’s contract at Camp Nou currently runs until June 2021.
According to Barca, Messi expressed his desire to activate a release clause that would end his contract and allow him to leave free this summer.
