Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie, has finally opened up on the assault on his manager Angel town by colleague singer Stonebwoy.
It has now been confirmed that Stonebwoy went physical by punching Angel’s eyes after an altercation ensued between the two last Monday at Sark’s ‘Black Love’ concert rehearsal.
At press conference by Sarkodie, he noted that what got him upset was the fact that Stonebwoy went physical.
He insisted that everyone had the right to be mad or angry but no one has the right to assault.
Sarkodie is known to let issues and allegation in the media die out, but has chosen to speak on this particular one.
He said “I don’t normally do this, but I think its better for our industry and the way forward.”
“Everyone has the right to be mad or angry but no one has the right to assault. Situations like what happened that led to the unfortunate incident is not new but that’s not to say it’s okay.”
He added “what got me upset was the fact that he chose to go physical with the situation. I don’t think my brother came from wherever he came from to destroy my show. We’ve had great relationships over the years and not necessarily because he is the best person I’ve come across.”
The “Lucky’ crooner also took the opportunity to thank everyone for the success of his ‘Black Love’ virtual concert.
