The actress has many times in the past used her social media platforms to play an activist role when she realizes the government was not doing right by the masses.
Yvonne in 2015, when Ghana suffered years of inadequate power supply popularly referred to as ‘Dumsor’, held a vigil to substantiate the plight of Ghanaians.
The actress has once again taken to her twttier page to advise the youth against getting engrossed in politics.
According to her, politicians only give long speeches, when in reality Ghanaians are suffering.
In a series of tweets, she wrote “you see how hard it is to even acquire a passport? You go bribe tireah! Yeaa! Most of your leaders don’t even have their kids in Ghana! They don’t even believe in the system they are running!”
She went on “they are LIARS! Playing with our minds every 4 years! Don’t stress charley! Focus on your life, don’t waste your energy on unnecessary fights and arguments. They need you this year, next year you be borla.”
She added “long Speeches mean NOTHING when Ghanaians are suffering charley!!!! Ibi the health care sef wey dey worry me!”
As the country prepares for the December 2020 polls, Ghanaians are hopeful for a peaceful process.
